Our friendly office staff will
ask questions pertaining to your project. Some general discussion of your house type, schedule, and budget is helpful to see
if an in home meeting should be the next step. (We ask that all decision makers be present for this meeting).
A North Coast Home Consultant will meet with you to
discuss goals and objectives of your project, but most importantly listen to your design, schedule, and budget needs.
Consultant will take all pertinent information related
to your project back to our office and review scope of your job with our Project Manager. All materials, labor hours, subcontractor
labor, permit fees, and any preliminary drawings will be drawn up in a timely fashion. (Allow 3-7 business days depending
upon scope and size of project.)
- Review Proposal and Preliminary Drawings
Consultant will meet with you for a second meeting to review specifics of proposal, drawings, and pricing pertinent
to your future project. At this time, if you want to move forward with the project, a construction contract will be drawn
up and any changes from proposal will be noted on contract. Consultant will review selections necessary for you to pick out
and a list of our Preferred Suppliers will be left behind to make your selections from.
Consultant and Project Manager will visit your home for a Pre-Construction meeting
to review all details of project, finalize changes & material selections, and help answer any questions. After this meeting
Project Manager will finalize drawings, apply for permits if necessary, and order all building materials and customer selections.
North Coast Home will not start your project until all materials are received in good condition so that there will be no delays
once we start the project. Our normal lead time from contract signing is 4-6 weeks depending on scope of project, weather,
or when materials arrive.
Because
we pride ourselves not only on our quality of work but our cleanliness as well, on the first day of construction, North Coast
Home installers will prep all floors and areas necessary with dust protection before construction starts. Project Manager
and Consultant will communicate with you to help answer questions and give schedule of project workflow. Consultant will make
periodic site visits to maintain consistent and accurate flow of information and help make any changes that may arise during
construction.
Project Manager will coordinate all inspections and make necessary schedule changes as they may arise.
Once all work is completed to your
satisfaction, Consultant will make final visit and review your finished project and help answer any final questions. We may
request an opportunity to photograph your project and will work to keep you as a valued client for future projects and for
an acquaintance you may know who would benefit from our services.
